In the dynamic heart of the city, Hyatt Centric Milan Centrale is a contemporary design hotel with 141 rooms and suites, designed to offer a tangible balance of comfort, style, and functionality. Its strategic location, just a short distance from Milan Central Station, makes it an ideal starting point for exploring the city’s main points of interest and experiencing Milan in a direct and authentic way.

Custom lighting that interprets the architecture and enhances its identity.

The refurbishment project, curated by CSMN Architects, is based on a design approach that interprets contemporary living through fluid spaces and unconventional architectural solutions. The aim is to create a coherent and continuous environment, capable of guiding the guest through an immersive yet functional experience. Particular attention is given to materiality and light: glass, lacquered finishes, marble, and fabrics come together in a balanced and recognizable language. Surfaces are not merely aesthetic elements, but tools that interact with light, helping to define the atmosphere and the perception of space.

Inside the rooms, the lighting design is carefully conceived to ensure visual comfort and versatility. A backlight behind the headboard enhances the decorated walls, while two reading lights provide focused illumination. On the bedside table, a custom-made lamp precisely lights the surface, accompanied by a decorative ceramic lamp that adds a more expressive touch.

Matter and light come together to shape an immersive experience.

GRIP FLOOR LAMP

GRIP stands out for its clear yet unobtrusive presence. It is composed of two tubular steel elements with front-facing LED sources for direct lighting, complemented by a softer indirect light. All light emissions are dimmable, allowing easy adaptation to different needs. The glossy lacquered finishes strengthen its identity and ensure consistency with the surrounding materials.

GRID TABLE LAMP

GRID, a table lamp, offers a lighter, more graphic presence. Its metal mesh structure creates a simple play of solids and voids, while the glossy lacquered metal diffuser directs the light. Here too, the LED source is dimmable, ensuring flexibility. The painted finish echoes that of the surface it is placed on, contributing to a cohesive and harmonious composition.

KONÉ CEILING LAMP

KONÉ is a more essential and discreet solution. It is a ceiling lamp with wall-mounted fixing, made of metal with a fabric cable and an opal diffuser that spreads a uniform light. The integrated LED source is dimmable, while the ultra-matte black finish emphasizes its minimal character and ease of integration into the space.

A lighting design project that transforms space into atmosphere.

The coordinated use of light and color, developed by CSMN Architects, helps create welcoming and well-balanced environments, ensuring high visual comfort and a clear design identity.
