In this private residence in Cortina, the aesthetic contribution of lighting plays a part in enhancing the ambience. The pendant solutions and the lights integrated in the walls, thanks to their strategic positioning, add a further level of refinement to the rooms, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The whole is further enhanced by a captivating play of reflections and mirrors contrasting with the materiality of the wood.
The domestic environment is certainly one of the most challenging for those of us who work with lighting technology. Lighting has to take into account not only the intended use of spaces, but also ‘feelings’.
