DIAPASON

The project, located in the French Alpine municipality of Breil-sur-Roya, has as its object the urban and functional redevelopment of the promenade along the western shore of the artificial lake that forms between the dam and the inlet of the Roia river itself. The primary objective was to re-establish the close relationship between the town and its lake, by means of a pathway that links up with the urban fabric in front of it by means of a slow route, entirely pedestrianised, and which allows the rediscovery of the interrelationships between different functional points.

The Diapason family consists of bollards and poles of different sizes, ideal for illuminating pavements, benches and private streets. These innovatively designed lamps were designed by Dedalo Architetti Associati and take their name from the special tuning fork shape, a fundamental instrument for tuning in music. Thanks to their shape and the different sizes available, Diapason lamps can be perfectly adapted to any outdoor environment, providing effective, high-quality lighting.

The Diapason poles and bollards were made with a focus on energy efficiency with a minimal and modern design aesthetic. The design was conceived by creating a line of ad hoc lighting fixtures to best enhance the various points along the route.
