Diapath is an Italian company that produces and supplies high-quality solutions for pathologists and laboratory professionals. The lighting design project was developed with the goal of ensuring optimal illumination across all work environments from offices to corridors, up to the relaxation area. Each space was carefully analyzed and designed in detail to achieve the perfect balance between visual comfort, energy efficiency, and aesthetic appeal, creating welcoming, functional, and pleasant atmospheres for everyday use.
“Made in Italy and Italian Design are not just sources of inspiration, but Values we live by every day our path toward Excellence and the art of doing things well.” Diapath S.p.A.

In a work environment, light quality plays a crucial role: uniform lighting, free from flicker and glare, helps reduce visual fatigue, enhancing people’s well-being while promoting focus and productivity. For this reason, the project incorporated state-of-the-art LED technologies, capable of delivering high color rendering, low energy consumption, and excellent long-term performance.

In the Diapath offices, the distribution of light sources was designed to support different operational functions while enhancing the architectural features of the spaces. Hole trimless recessed spotlights, Bard Alto linear lights, and John track-mounted fixtures were installed, each serving a specific purpose.
The John spotlights offer maximum flexibility they can be moved along the track, adjusted, or tilted to highlight architectural details, furnishings, or focal areas. The Hole trimless spotlights, on the other hand, provide directional and controlled lighting with beams of varying widths, ideal for ensuring precise and focused illumination.
Innovation, quality, and reliability with a special focus on the customer.
The Bard Alto linear light profiles serve as both a decorative and technical element: thanks to their continuity and versatility, they help define the volumes, guide the visual flow, and give the spaces a contemporary and dynamic character, all without compromising functionality.

Harmony, energy efficiency, creativity
In summary, the project aims to combine design and visual well-being, turning light into a true tool of comfort and identity for Diapath’s workspaces. Lighting is not conceived as a mere technical element, but as an integral part of the spatial experience, capable of positively influencing mood and the perception of the environment.

The entire project stands out for its ability to merge technical efficiency, perceptual quality, and aesthetic research, transforming the workspaces into places where light guides, enhances, and highlights the architecture, accentuating details and turning every environment into a complete visual and sensory experience.
